STRAIN NAME: CAVENDISH DUNES (CBD SHARK SHOCK)
Producer: Tweed, CraftGrow Collection
Labeled as: 7.5% THC and 9.3% CBD
Rated 1 (low score) to 5 (high score)
Packaging/Weight: I will rate the packaging a 2. This producer packages their product in bulky, plastic containers making it hard to transport and effects the aroma of the Cannabis. I’d like to see more environmentally friendly packaging in the future. The order came slightly underweight from what I purchased.
Look: I’m rating the look a 3 overall. The flowers (or buds) were a dark green with lots of orange hairs and a moderate amount of crystals, called trichomes that are visible. The product was hard and compact with some sticks still attached and the buds were very dry.
Smell: Rating the smell a 3 out of 5. The main terpenes present are Pinene and Myrcene, giving this strain a fresh, earthy scent. Terpenes are responsible for the smell, flavor and some of the medicinal effects found in each Cannabis strain.
Taste: Giving the flavor a 2. The Pinene terpene present in this strain gives it a strong flavor when smoked and is considered to be an effective bronchodilator. This terpene is not my favourite, but many individuals do enjoy this and would rate this higher.
Effects: Will give this strain a 2.5. I didn’t feel any obvious effects after consuming this product, however, it is hard to detect the short-term benefits of CBD dominant strains (individual results will vary).
Comments: I felt little to no effect in the short time I used this strain and consider this product as average, but still desirable for the CBD content. This strain can help control inflammation because of the of terpenes combined with the CBD content present when used longterm. This strain is recommended for daytime use, which I agree with. I don’t feel I would purchase this product again.
